Shadeclan live in the pine part of the forest, the tree canopies seem to blank out the sunshine. They hunt many animals, except fish. Their best hunting skills show at night.

Death of Eaglestar
Eaglestar's death came as a shock to all of Shadeclan and many of the cats in other clans.
Applewood, his old apprentice, wanted to speak to him about patrols and went to the leader's den. He found him lying on the floor of the den and thought he was sleeping, but soon found that he wasn't breathing.
The cause of his death has not yet been decided
