Eaglestar is a short-haired, dark brown, green- eyed tom. His chin, underbelly , front legs, and all four paws are snow white. He is thin and muscular. Eaglestar is fierce in battle. At times he can be a little dark and untrusting. Eaglestar usually proves this wrong by his undying loyalty to Shadeclan. He would do anything for his clan even if it meant dying. Blackspots is his best friend in the clan and it has been that way ever since they were apprentices.He and Blackspots once fell in love with the same cat, Moonfall, but it lead to him meeting Sunrise. Sunrise is Eaglestar's mate. Eaglestar is in love with Sunrise, and is the adopted father of Whitekit. Eaglestar is a not so new leader and will always do his best to lead ShadeClan. In the great battle againist BloodClan, he spoke his wishes for peace between BloodClan and the normal Clans. Enough though the two are worlds apart he hopes it will work. He was in great pain when Blackspots died and feels bad for Echopaw, who believes the whole thing is her fault. He pledged to Moonfall, her kits, and the kits she is expecting that he would always protect them if their was a life in his body. He has taken Badgerpaw in as a son.

Death[]
Eaglestar's death came as a shock to all of Shadeclan and many of the cats in other clans.
Applewood, his old apprentice, wanted to speak to him about patrols and went to the leader's den. He found him lying on the floor of the den and thought he was sleeping, but soon found that he wasn't breathing.
The cause of his death has not yet been decided
